The “VivL® ” is ethically handmade in Wales and is currently available in Beech wood. Other hardwoods are available (price on request) and comes in a Blue Velveteen Drawstring bag. Each “VivL® ” has been initially ‘oiled’ to provide a long lasting matt finish which is water, heat & alcohol resistant.

NB Should you for any reason need to ‘clean’ the “VivL® ” ‘hand wash only in mild soapy water, followed by using a vegetable based oil and buff with a dry cloth to retain its patina. Should the surface of the “VivL® ” be damaged avoid contact with skin until professionally repaired to ensure a smooth surface.

This Soft Tissue Mobilising (STM) tool - “VivL® ” has been developed over a period of time, its size and weight optimising therapist efficiency . Its design offers a variety of concave and convex edges for comfort and control. The rounded edges allow’ sensitive’ work of restricted myofascial structures thereby reducing pain and tension.

The use of the “VivL® ” is thought to provide a mechanical advantage for the therapist by allowing deeper penetration and more specific treatment, while also reducing imposed stress on the hands. 

Please note that each “VivL® ” is handmade and therefore wood colouring may vary. A variety of oils used during treatments will create a unique patina over time.
