These skills are delivered at THE Centre, 33 The Parade, Cardiff CF24 3AD. The mode of delivery is 10 evenings ov er a period of your choice. These skills can be studied as continuing professional development (CPD) with an attendance certificate or can be assessed for a competence certificate.
Alternatively after a period of ‘practice’ a competency assessment can be undertaken to provide evidence of safe and effective practice. There is an additional fee for the assessment day
This mode of delivery may be especially suitable for those with Sports Science, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation and other higher education awards related to sports, exercise & therapy but have not achieved a recognisable level of education for autonomous practice or membership of Professional Associations in the modality of Sport, Clinical & Therapeutic Massage. However in a one to one (bring a model) or small group situation no previous experience is required and we will help and mentor anyone who is over 18 and prepared to work hard. The programme includes all the core elements required and gives all course participants access to help & support in setting up their own practices. Support to students is easily accessible throughout the period of study and after as an essential part of continued professional development (CPD).
Successful completion of this module allows autonomous practice and access to a variety of CPD courses
